And 2014 is off to a roaring start. Except ObamaCare. Lot's of grumbling out there as the people are finding their free health care ain't so free. And it's not there at all for many people who used to be fairly happy with our old system. I think it won't be long until a whole lot of people are going to wake up to the fact that government run health care is not for America. I think now would be a great time to run that repeal bill again. I think it will pick up a few more democrat votes. And if it fails in the senate, run it again in a month or so. Keep trying right up to November. By November, enough people will be fed up with the hard-headed socialist democrats in the senate to vote in a new Republican majority. Woo hoo!! Go, tea party, go!!

Let's keep those cards and letters coming in folks. We need your support now more than ever. Time to turn this thing around.

...and we lost water pressure. Life has it's joys.

Pipes are frozen going upstairs here, too.
DrO said it took 4 attempts and over an hour to get the washing machine to fill.
I'm rotating my sitting between here and the warm kitchen. At heart, I'm still a Southern California sissy...lol... but the thermostat is turned up to a "balmy" 68 today. It's actually a very nice 74 degrees in the kitchen but I'm not about to tell him! Kitchen has two wonderful heating vents and it's a smaller room than this one which has 5 of those huge, old Victorian windows that measure from 2 feet off the floor to 2 feet from the high ceilings.

So Schwartzy and medico both hold grudges. Funny how different grudges can be.

one bring impatient...about a parents death...the other working under the worst conditions imaginable...in a hospital where they often have to put off surgeries for lack of rubber gloves.

obamacare may well put us in the same category as Albania....if we dont nip it in the bud
