His skills are for real. You have to be one arrogant gaijin to open a dojo in Japan...you also have to be able to back it up, 365 days a year.

Actually I was referring to his skills because I knew nothing else about him. Though he is a lousy actor. The guy that trained me trained in Japan under the son of the guy who put the art together. He was well known in Ky. and if you trained under him and went to another dojo they really didn’t seem to want you there. The guy that trained me spent all the time training you to win any battle, he didn’t spend any time on the spiritual side of the art. He also taught a few extra things that might come in handy. I only had occasion to use what I was taught once, but it definitely ended a problem very quickly.
