This seems pretty weak.

This Dad of two Iraq war vets (one of whom spent a long time in Fallujah) remains hopeful for more focused statements from the the GOP (or any Dems with a conscience).

First of all these countries cannot do diversity. The way the decolonization occured or how the borders were to be cut makes no sense whatsoever. Japan and Germany managed because, gasp, they were pretty much uniracial/cultural.

There were two problems. One was Iraqi hostility stoked under Saddam. This had to be stoped. The other was Iraqis getting to agree with each other. We cannot force them. Besides they are not like Kuwaiti teenage mall items spenders. Iraqis are tribal and rioting for foodstuff rather than respecting shops is what they do.
