So far there’s nothing about allowing “gay” Scoutmasters.
In a sense, I see a possible opportunity here, however. It’s just such a strongly masculine environment as the Scouts at least had been, that would probably help a limp-wrister Scout learn some manhood. If he was really willing to learn and not be stubborn and force his weakness on everyone else to accommodate. This might end up helping some “gays” in a manner they didn’t anticipate.

It appears most posters think the complete collapse of the BSA is a foregone conclusion in the immediate or near future. It isn't. The end is going to be nasty and prolonged, because units control the selection of their leaders.
As a national organization, the Girl Scouts of America went over to the dark side two decades ago, yet there are still exceptional local units because of dedicated, conservative Girl Scout leaders.
The BSA program is still excellent and can continue to provide an excellent program to young men if administered by strong conservative leaders on the local level.
