I'll stray out of my (usual) "Politically Correct mindset" here, and say that ...


as a former New Orleans resident (twenty years, 1969-1989) ...


many of the folk in the Lower Ninth Ward are worth the powder to blow them to hell.


Moreover, many, many are lazy, no-count welfare cheats.


They'd manage to trash and screw-up the Space Shuttle if they were invited to live there.


Brad Pitt did them a HUGE favor, but these black & white trash ingrates managed to screw it up.

Credit if the task was to provide housing.

No credit if the task was to push “green” housing.

It's not quite clear to me which one was being done in this case.
