As an American citizen, and in the interest of
providing for the common defense, I would tend to endorse the idea launching an attack against
any location flying the Al Qaeda flag. I would consider it an invitation for a military engagement at that very spot.
Again, flying the Al Qaeda flag at any specific location should be interpreted by the United States in one of the following ways:
- "Please launch an air strike at these coordinates."
- "Al Qaeda cruise missile target."
- "We are Islamic terrorists. Please kill us ASAP."
- Some other appropriate logical and rational translation of the use of that symbol by murderous savages
That way, the people who live in such an area would be highly motivated to ensure that the Al Qaeda flag did not fly anywhere within a bomb blast radius of them or their loved ones.
Freedom isn't free. Not for Americans, and not for Iraqis.
The Iraqi government and its People have to do better...
