I am augmenting the heat withthe oven! No better time to bake bread or a “big arse pork shoulder” than when the temp is gonna drop!
Nothing says lovin like coming in from a cold winter night, into a warm kitchen with the aroma of fresh bread......(and yeah, my son deserves it :-)

Had dugged myself out and my knees are aching. Will listen to Tom Marr as much as possible, but may go and rest.

Raise your body heat by cooking spicy food. Ginger, specifically, boosts body temp and increases circulation. Eat nuts and other foods high in healthy fat to regulate your body temperature. Soups, stews, casseroles and roasts will warm your belly and while they’re cooking the smells are warming too.

Thanks for the thread, Biggirl. Get some rest and have a warm, restful weekend. We’ve got some more ugly weather coming Sunday/Monday.

There was a shooting event in the Unintended Consequences book that sounded a lot like the event in that video.
