+9The bottom line is that this could all end tomorrow. The GOP can do any number of things to negate almost any action Obama takes or has taken. There are a thousand ways that we have all discussed here and elsewhere.
But they won’t do it.
People get crazy over me pointing that out here. But it’s true. Democrats are what they are. None of us are so deluded as to think they will change. Yet whenever the GOP crosses the line, excuses are made.
Which is WHY the GOP does nothing to correct themselves or the Dems. They know damn well they get enough votes to stay in office with nothing to fear.
There are people in the GOP filing suits against Obama’s actions. That said, the House is full of mostly cowards worried about the media deriding them.
Unfortunately, even if these in the House did something right, it would never be brought to the Senate floor.
The House could impeach the jackass, and they should, but with Boehner as leader, they won’t.
However, none of that would end this tomorrow. You want it to end? Do it the Egyptian way. That is the only thing that would scare them. But none of us will do that either because Obama might drone us.
Well said. And when Democrats vote for Democrats, they know exactly what they're voting for (though they clearly don't know the consequences). When Republicans vote for Republicans, they hope to be voting for a representative who will advocate for limited government in principle as well as in deed, but they know that what the representative will actually do once in office, is a TOTAL CRAP SHOOT.
Now I know a guy like fatman is going to say: "All voting is a crap shoot!" To which I would answer, "No, it's only a crap shoot for Republicans." Democrats get exactly what they vote for. Republicans like fatman think they can vote FOR liberalism and get something else. No wonder the party is screwed up six ways to Sunday.
I still think there's time for the ballot and soap boxes, on that I agree with fatman, but I also think that the ONLY way we can use those two items to our advantage, is to take the presidential candidate THIRD PARTY in order to weaken the leftist/liberal power structure in the GOP by at least forcing a plurality win on the victorious liberal Uniparty candidate.
