Declaring peace is not a mission impossible, US Secretary of State John Kerry arrived on Thursday and immediately met a downbeat Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu who spoke of growing Israeli doubts about the Palestinian commitment to peace.

Kerry will break his teeth trying to get this done.
Hey John!
As long as the “plan” originates from you and your boss, it will ALWAYS BE MISSION IMPOSSIBLE!!
You and Obama support ONLY THE TERRORISTS.
You insist Israel make all of the concessions.
You insist Israel NEVER RETALIATE FOR ATTACKS.
THAT is your supposed formula....
Hey John, bet you can’t answer this simple question without mentioning Israel:
“What will the Pali’s give up as their part of the agreement?”
kerry cannot do what cannot be done... period.
peace is not impossible .....................
but peace based on the Obama/Kerry “dismember Israel and turn it over to our Islamic terrorist friends” ... is impossible
Bibi, it is well past time for you to send Kerry home! enough of your trying to “handle the problem diplomatically” ... it only makes you appear weak and thus it invites more and more and more attacks and schemes against Israel
Right, Mr. Secretary. “Declaring Peace”, that is the easy part. Actual peace is hard. But liberals like Sec. Kerry never do any of the heavy-lifting.
SHUT UP AND GO HOME, JOHN!
“This framework, he said, would provide the agreed guidelines for permanent-status negotiations.
This, he added, will take time and it will take compromise from both sides. But an agreed framework would be a significant breakthrough.
Translation: I want a Nobel Prize!
“The State Department official recently likened the framework agreement to Kerry bringing the two leaders to the top of a hill and sharing with them a view of what peace will look like on the other side, in terms of the core issues to be resolved. Once that was done, he said, it will become easier to finalize the details.
Kerry said such a framework would address all the core issues borders, security, refugees, Jerusalem, mutual recognition and an end to all claims so the sides know where they are going.
Translation: Down below is hell, Bibi. Put these roller blades on and start skating.
“He said his role was not to impose US ideas, but rather to facilitate the parties in their own efforts at trying to bridge the gaps on those issues.”
Translation: Come on and make piece already. The Nobel Prize is just waiting for somebody else to grab it, and then I’ll have to wait for next year!
“The secretary of state praised Netanyahu for having the courage to go through with the recent release of Palestinian security prisoners, saying he knew how difficult that decision was.”
Translation: Ha! He really did it! Next let’s see if he’ll kiss his own ass in public if we push him hard enough.
“In the next breath, he praised Abbas for staying engaged with Israel, even though he was facing domestic pressure to break away from the talks.”
Caused by PA incitement.
“Kerry, who served as a lieutenant in the US Navy during the Vietnam War, said his recent visit there showed him the power of reconciliation.
The transformation of US-Vietnam relations was proof, he said, that as painful as the past can be, through hard work and diplomacy historys adversaries can actually become partners, and historys challenges can become an opportunity for a new age.”
Translation: Right after they finished burying the bodies and the refugees all got eaten by sharks. But none of that happened on TV, and only Cambodia got made into a movie.
That Vietnam statement was something else wasn’t it? Good fn grief.
Talk about chutzpa and irony all wrapped into one.
How can Benjamin Netanyahu of all people still trust the word of the Obama administration? No one else does.
The Egyptians understand they were stabbed in the back by Obama, twice — first when he withdrew support from Hosni Mubarek and then when he withdrew support from his new allies, the Muslim Brotherhood, when they began to show weakness.
Saudi Arabia understands it was stabbed in the back by Obama, first when he championed the Syrians by refusing to bomb them when they crossed his red line of using chemical weapons, and then when he betrayed them by signing an agreement with Iran to end international sanctions.
The American people no longer trust Obama after he lied to them on numerous occasions about their being able to keep their insurance and doctors under ObamaCare.
Even by publicly entertaining the notion of giving up land for peace as he is doing now, Netanyahu gives the appearance to all the world of being the only fool left on the planet who still thinks Obama can be trusted.
Unless Netanyahu sends John Kerry away, he will continue to hurt Israel and should be replaced as prime minister.
There are threats made, I’m sure. Something like, “Look here, Beasly (what kind of a boy’s name is that?). I deserve a Nobel Piece Prize and I’m gonna get one, and you might get one, too, if you play your cards right, along with that other guy, the one with the Arab-sounding name—Abu Magen? Or is it Makemud Abuz?—but to do that, we gotta have a piece agreement. What’s all this about security, anyway? So long as nothing happens on TV, who cares? But if you don’t make a piece agreement, we’ll just have to start hurting you so I can have my Nobel Piece Prize. I want it(pound!). I want it(pound!). I want it(pound!).”
What you say makes sense.
This is the same John Kerry who, according to his fellow officers in Vietnam, was willing to lie, cheat, and do whatever was necessary to ‘’win’’ purple hearts. So why would he now be averse to lying, blackmailing, and deceiving the Israelis to ‘’win’’ a Nobel Peace Prize?
But John Kerry’s fellow officers had the courage to stand up to him and tell the truth during his 2004 presidential campaign, so why doesn’t Benjamin Netanyahu have the courage now to also stand up to John Kerry and simply tell him to leave Israel and take his untrustworthy land-for-peace promises with him?

The fellow swift-boaters did not just begin with Kerry in 2004. Back in the ‘70s, their leader debated Kerry on the Dick Cavett show and wiped the floor with him. A President Kerry would have paid him back with interest for that humiliation, so it was a matter of personal self-preservation to keep him out of the White House.
Bibi cannot keep him out of the SOS seat or do anything to him, but Kerry can hurt Israel if he has a pretext to say that Israel refused to make piece and use that as justification for voting with the anti-Israel majority in the GA and the SC, or cutting Israel’s 1.5 billion to 1 billion, or imposing economic sanctions. For the good of his country, he may feel he has to at least pretend to play along with Kerry. Bad judgment, imho.
We need new allies. America’s need for oil makes the American government untrustworthy. My idea for a new ally is EMA (Eastern Minorities Alliance), a coalition of non-Sunni and non-Shiite countries including India, Armenia, Greece, South Sudan, Cyprus, and some countries that will be brought into existence, or at least whose putative existence would be supported by Israel, such as Greater Kurdistan (they’re mostly Suffis, I think), Alawitania (;-?), Balluchistan, Coptia, and Christian Lebanon. Why not? Two states for two peoples, after all;-E)
Say it again. He’s still there.
