35 degrees tomorrow morning. Then again, the high is 71. He he he (sorry).

Tell you a story.

In 1978 we flew into Ezerum TU at about 1500 hrs. We were going up to the mountain were the nuclear missile site was (it didn't exist, at least according to the DOD).

Deuce and a half from the airport at Ezerum (72 degrees) up to the mountain, when we got there (1 hr later) was 20 degrees.

By 1700 hrs the temp had dropped to 10 degrees. Stuff started to break. Rocks, windows, etc. the same. Vehicles won't start. By 1900 hrs it was 0.

I was supposed to be TDY for three days. Not happening. S4 couldn't get trucks up the mountain...did I mention 2 ft. of snow?

Anyway, everything was ok, until we ran out of liquor and cigarettes. And, all we were eating (except C rats), was SOS. It sucked.

About the seventh day, the Airforce (yes, I do love you Zoomies), airdropped food, liquor and cigs. I thought I was going to die...

Yes, I crack me up, but it was not a pleasant experience.

Odd thing is that the adjust is never in our favor.
