Probably not. If the insurance is active they usually charge you the full price for deductibles.

That has never been my experience, including last month. Always got the negotiated rate.

As I was starting to suspect last night, this pre-deductible negotiated rate thing seems to depend on the state.

I know Utah requires it, and it seems to be required in Washington State from my experience. California evidently doesn’t from what sheana says.
