You can't paint EVERY NYC resident with such a broad brush. How ridiculous is it to declare that "the people of NYC have stone hearts"? I guess that's why there are so many animal rescue organizations. I guess that's why I've spent hundreds of my own dollars to rescue cats I've found, and placed them either in homes or no-kill shelters. Because I have a heart of stone.
