We have two stories now, Maya says found the work after mother died, this translation suggests it was found in Alice Dewey’s neat little office.

And it ought to have been in the university library, instead of buried in Dewey’s office, IF they’d awarded her a Ph.D. based on it. If Dewey was so enthralled by her scholarship, then you’d think her mentor would have made sure to share it with the other students.

I knew there was something stinky going on when I saw the title, Peasant Blacksmithing...and saw that Alice had written a book with the title Peasant Marketing. Considering the amount of time Alice spent in Indonesia, it struck me that one was a sequel to the other.
Pardon me world for suspecting that this publication was left-overs from Alice’s research.
Nothing I’ve read since has made me think any different.

No matter what it is, they just can’t keep their stories straight, the latest is the deathbed (letter) request...it’s quite disgusting.
