KI is only useful for the relatively short half life radioactive iodine isotopes. Won’t do anything for Cs or Sr.
Its also only useful for young children and people who don’t have enough iodine in their diet.
So for most people it wont help much.

I agree with what you say. For my guys and I, it is only useful for residual fallout of prevailing winds. Past that, we’re fuq’d like everyone else.
