FINALLY! I don't know how I missed it; pretty dumb I guess. It's the forward slash that kept me from posting Freepers quotes in italics. It's already been a good year.

Does anyone know of an HTML editor that works with Safari/iOS7/iPad?
Nothing like a little HTML to kick off the New Year
Thank you. The FR html sandbox has been a huge help, not only for posting on FR, but with blogs I have. I’ve had to use html for pictures, tables for pictures & data, plus other html code to get things to look right or to de-bug the way the post looks when the ‘auto’ compose isn’t doing the job. I’ve also proved to myself that “old dogs” can learn/teach themselves new tricks .... my friends are amazed that I can actually do some html. :-)
Hard To Make Literate
Thanks.
Every year the new and updated Sandbox post gets better and better!!!

You can't just snag a favorite picture from a desktop folder...it has to be hosted someplace on line to be posted here.
Best bet is to save the image to an image hosting service, I use Photobucket. In Firefox right click and select "Copy image location", in Safari right click and select "Open image in new tab" and copy the address in the address bar. Other browsers have similar tricks.

Cynwoody adds this tip:You can pre-cue a YouTube video by adding a t parameter, &t=, to the link. Like so:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f66kEastC58&t=35s
http://www.youtube.com/watch?&v=CwrgsufbFH4&t=3m13s
Way cool! Thanks Cynwoody!
If you find one/some, post them here and I will update the post for next time.
In a reply one can do simply things like line breaks, paragraphs, Capital letters,
links, etc without using any HTML. However if any HTML is used at any place in the reply then
it must be used in the entire reply.
This is reply is an example with no HTML and using line breaks, paragraph breaks and a URL.
