$1500 seems to be a pretty low bail for Mr. Rogers, especially considering the notoriety and seriousness of the case- as well as the fact that his cronies involved in the case are still at large.
Maybe the hope is that Rogers will lead them to the other suspects.
It’s probably, in part, due to the fact he always shows up for trial. He’s considered low flight risk.
