The Mississippi State University, led by 2014 Heisman Trophy frontrunner Dak Prescott, annihilated Conference USA Champion Rice University 44-7. Prescott threw for three touchdowns and passed for another 2 as The Mississippi State University showed the rest of the college football world that they were going to contend for the 2014 National Championship.
A good win for my Bulldogs. Went there many decades ago. A very good school.
I gradumated there in 1985.

Not to burst your bubble, but Duke and Rice are not very good teams. And who the hell put Texas up against Oregon? There are some reall lopsided pairings this year. IMHO.

I went to bed at 1:30...we have a few folks staying over...bodies all over the place..I woke up at 4am...champagne does that sometimes..
I was at the MSU game against OK State in Houston to start the season in Reliant Stadium and had the opportunity to talk with some of your fellow Bulldogs at our hotel. We had a good time in Houston and my Cowboys took care of business at the game, too, but those d*** cowbells about drove me crazy. I had one of your Bulldogs sitting in the OSU club-level section in handicap seating directly behind and above me - let’s just say I had ugly thoughts about what to do with that bell.
I don’t brag on Miss State very often if at all but their 37 point win over high powered Rice is the biggest point spread so far in the bowl games.
