There are really only a small handful of “blue states”.

California by itself is worth at least four or five average size states. Illinois is worth at least two or three. New York state is also good for several.

The sad part is that pre-Pete Wilson California was NOT blue. They could vote for Jerry Brown or Deukmajian (sp?). Illinos was RINO Republican as the suburbs offset Chicago. It was just as corrupt then, however.

Correct, and what changed that dynamic? It was the last immigration "reform" (IRCA)in 1986.

Now the Rinos want to do it again and perhaps make Texas blue along with several other states.
