Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and some members of the Duck Dynasty family will be on Fox News for its New Year's Eve programming Tuesday night.
After A&E suspended patriarch Phil Robertson for comments to GQ magazine that were deemed to be "anti-gay," the network, which is owned by Disney, reinstated Robertson last Friday. Palin is the politician that many, including a prominent columnist for The Hill, said most resonates with Duck Dynasty nation...
Palin was the first politician of note to vigorously defend Robertson immediately after he got suspended, saying that "free speech is an endangered species" and "those 'intolerants' hatin’ and taking on the 'Duck Dynasty' patriarch for voicing his personal opinion are taking on all of us."
Her comments paved the way for some other politicians on the right--like Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R)--that came to Robertson's defense while the Republican establishment was silent.

My thoughts exactly. Ailes is smart and quick to strike. I wish he could have gotten Tim Tebow though. Tim may get better treatment MAY on Fox, as opposed to MSNBC or CBS. I guess we conservatives should not become ghettoized, you know the old saying, don’t hide your light under a bushel.
Sarah seems to be finding that out too, she has forgiven Bill O;Reilly for his rudeness of last year, and returned to his program earlier this month. Megan Kelly, who his like Bill’s protégé, was probably instrumental in convincing Sarah to take another chance on Bill.
Ailes is tacking right again since his lefty effort is a failure.

Meanwhile the great common tax system of Virginia is cracking down on drunk driving with higher fines, requited lawyering up alcohol detection device costs and upkeep fees.
Gun criminals meanwhile continue to punish and inflict damage on the rest of us LAWFUL BEHAVIOUR gun owners.
Just like prohibition, gun control is a failure bound social experiment too that is unless we let our Constitutionally given rights get run over.

Hate to be the contrarian here but why have we made these reality show guys some kind of mascot for conservativism. We’ve become like liberals, looking for totems and symbols. Why we keep losing elections, looking for the next messiah. Appropriate we have two groups of self proclaimed martyrs to the cause on TV. Poor picked on Sarah and poor picked on gazzionaire redneck Phil. Phil I equate to Paula Deen, just an old bigot who let a little of his Louisiana cracker come out. Both of them need to control their mouth diarrhea they have a propensity to dispense it on occasion. We need more Walkers and Ted Cruz’s and less of the bleating, complaining, thin skinned.

ailes is corrupt and a corporatist... this will help his profit and that is all that motivates him. If the republic swings to the right by a miracle of GOD, ailes will tack right with it. He has turned left so hard that for the last two years he has been sailing in a counterclockwise circle.
Haven’t stayed up for New Years for 10 years...all the MTVBS, I don’t need it, I would rather sleep. But now I have a reason to stay awake. Thank you Fox for giving me a reason to celebrate this year!
