So far as I know the “implied consent” that comes with your drivers license only applies to alcohol. Not to cheek-swabbing you for an endless number of substances (nor your DNA).
In most states implied consent applies to a "chemical test for intoxication". That would include drug or alcohol intoxication. (which makes sense because alcohol is just another drug) But, in my state at least, a "chemical test for intoxication" is limited to a blood, breath or urine test. Thus, swabbing for saliva or cheek cells is not included and you are not obliged to consent to such a test.
LOL. The police state will expand it to reach whatever they want you to consent to. Can't wait until they start claiming the pernicious doctribe applies to warrantless house to house searches for ___________.
