I have NO problem with this. Many states have been far too lax when it comes to drivers licenses. In addition, it would disqualify any state that allows drivers licenses for illegals to have that state’s license accepted as proper identification for domestic air travel. Then let’s see those who favor illegals bitch when they can’t get on a domestic flight without a passport.
These were also my thoughts. Any kind of biometric data or a GPS device in the card and I’m opposed... but they don’t appear to be doing that.
The only objection I have is ... will I be required to buy this? Will I also be required to buy a state driver’s license?
Also.. if everyone is required to have ID ... now there is no excuse for people to object to voter ID laws.
