In this horrendous job market, if I were to become unemployed tomorrow, I’d be on six interviews by midweek and be employed by Friday. That’s because I took the time (shudder) to work hard (puke puke puke) and become excellently skilled in my field. I also at the ripe old age of 44 went back to school to be a nurse. Why would ANYONE in their right mind do this? I guess, I dunno ...because there are 100’s of jobs in nursing? I graduated and had at least 10 managers stuffing their cards in my hands ...in fact, I don’t think I’d even graduated yet.
Ask most of these people if they’d EVER take a job in healthcare ...”Ew, no way ...can’t stand the sight of (blood/vomit/puke/crap)(pick one). They wouldn’t be caught dead ...too much work.
