A prominent New Jersey doctor well known for taking in foster kids was rocked by an unthinkable horror when one of his adopted children allegedly stabbed another to death in their home.
Rest peacefully, angel, Dr. Robert Gallo wrote on his Facebook page with a picture of his daughter Teia, 20.
Her foster brother, Travis Gallo, 17, allegedly stabbed her repeatedly with a kitchen knife at around 5:30 p.m. Thursday in front of two other siblings at their Washington Township home, sources said.

Yes I wasn’t singling you out just adding a comment to the thread.
No words are required with that one.
This was going to happen anyway, but perhaps it would have been less likely to occur if there had been a second black or minority boy at home or within the family circle of contacts. Some teen boys start at age 13 looking for a group to identify with. The lucky and wise choose school or a lucrative job to give them a new adult persona, the unwise may choses gangs or gang type behavior as acted out in videos. Terrible tragedy. Appearances can deceive or not tell the whole story, but that boy looks disturbingly vacant and disassociated. Some teens don’t open up when something bothers them, you have to wait a study their behavior, unless the parents recognize the clues of depression or paranoia.
The well intentioned Doctor collected kids like Angelina Jolie, and she has a team of maids and nannies, so there is someone there watching, making sure the little darlings don’t get too rough on the other. I see no mention of a Mother figure, Did she see something and chose not to say anything? One of those ‘wait till your Father gets home!”.
I agree.
Crack-addicted momma. Lesions in the brain.
Where I was coming from is that I have two kids, both grown. One is a CPA and one is in the real estate business, but, I clearly remember that it was a long, long, long road to get them to where they are. So, this doc, unless he learned how to be an OB-GYN and a father to 15 through some miracle I am unaware was not able to be even a basic father to each of these kids. It was a nanny or paid babysitter and we now have that result.
I’ll add one thing: little Mr Murderer got raised in a hell of a lot better economic environment with wealthy physician daddy than me and my seven younger siblings did And I bet he didn’t move twelve times by the time he was 18 like I did.
We don’t know if he was a real rat or if the sister was really obnoxious or what. Not that that would excuse him.
He looks like a relatively normal kid here: http://thenypost.files.wordpress.com/2013/12/sibling-murder.jpg
The original article mentions the two fighting often, sometimes violently.
Beautiful Girl and her eyes are alive with joy.
RIP
