I was thinking the same thing when I saw the headline. If I recall, going to church on Christmas is a Catholic / Orthodox practice. I don’t think either Bushes or Clinton or Reagan ever attended services on Christmas day, so for me, this is a big nothingburger.

Presidents can have chaplains visit them and hold services if desired, thereby sparing some congregation from having to undergo a four-hour security ordeal just to attend a 45-minute service. The Secret Service is not going to vary their security routine just because the venue for a Presidential visit will be a church.
The Clintons used to make quite a public show of attending church, but then again...neither one of them cared who they inconvenienced by their thoughtlessness.
