Would love for the Robertsons to flip the bird at A&E, but tough to do with a signed contract.

As a global media content company, A+E Networks core values are centered around creativity, inclusion and mutual respect.
That's why they tried to crush someone who dared to creatively say something they didn't agree with. That's why they decided to exclude a man who actually believes this stuff. That's why they elected to disrespect the man.

I’m cynical. Maybe it was a ploy to boost ratings all along.

"We will also use this moment to launch a national public service campaign (PSA) promoting unity, tolerance and acceptance among all people, a message that supports our core values as a company, and the values found in Duck Dynasty. These PSAs will air across our entire portfolio." "In addition, an A&E source says the family and the network are going to work together to promote tolerance moving forward."
Great, so they will run PSA's pushing fags as normal during the show and the family will help promote tolerance.
sigh...

A HUGE “in-Your-Face” to the Gay Fascists, but they love that kind of thing, don’t they?
There was a groundswell building, like the Chik-fil-a backlash.

Bothers me too. I would have told A&E to take a hike.

Hehe you do realize Phil won this right?
He didn’t apologize for one. single. thing.
In fact last Sunday he doubled down on his remarks
at his church. And A&E is putting him back on.
They had NO choice.
He didn’t go on an apology tour. He didn’t
seek out Gay activists to work with.
This statement from A&E is mere window dressing.
Nothing will change.

BTW- I don’t really remember anything in the quote where Phil talked about gay people. He said he preferred women and didn’t understand the other choice and he listed sins.
