My questions are sincere, but sure, duck the issue with a threat. I'll try to make the point again anyway. Who, in your view, is a combatant under the facts as they stand today? I'll answer it for you: There aren't any. It is not only wrong but foolish to talk of violence under the circumstances. Should armed men come at your or a neighbor's door, that's one thing, and it's up to you to decide how you'll respond. But that isn't what's happening. It may make people feel better to vent their spleen, but I cannot imagine what anyone would hope to achieve under the present circumstances by committing an act of violence. The way to fight now is with your ballot, through the courts, and if necessary with your feet. If your state is irreversibly blue, bail out and go where your voice will still matter.
