I’m tired of the vets whining about having their bennies cut. They volunteered for duty and if they actually believed they would get to feed at the public trough forever, they were simply, well, naive. My security isn’t any better for the last five decades of fighting. Our country is all too willing to throw men and women into the teeth of battle, time and time again, for virtually any reason. And none of it has made me more secure. Why these people enlist is nothing short of bizarre.
