Fights can turn on quick events, just to be fair. What if you picked up a cat and it sunk its claws into you, would you gently put it down or throw it across the room? Thanks to modern medicine and modern nutrition some of these grannies can be pretty dangerous.

One-off events like this are worth some concern, but you really need to look at more, before drawing any great generalities. I’d wonder about why not tasers, but unless they are going to cover everyone with a taser that might not prove practical either. Some sort of triage has to be performed on these incidents or else you get known as the boy who cried wolf.

These are not one off events in America because they happen daily but half the time they never hit the newswires.

I think if she were tasered while standing she might go into a free fall and possibly, due to her age, break a hip or get a smashed skull. And the tasering itself can be fatal (Keyword: taser).
