I have heard it said that a Libertarian FReeper is one who HAS been abused by his/her once beloved enforcers of the Law.

A FReeper who STILL kneels before the police after being abused is either a masochist or a......well, connect the dots.

With the exception of one trivial run-in with an LA County Sheriff motorcycle cop a couple decades ago, in every interaction I've ever had with LEOs they have treated me with the utmost professionalism.

That does not mean I'm blind to how those less fortunate(?) than I have been flat out abused.

Nor does it mean that I don't recognize that the worse they treat other people and get away with it, the worse they may some day treat me should the spell wear off...
