why do you keep replying to yourself?
I know a couple of guys that can pick up a gun cold and be truly proficient, I’m not one of them, and you probably aren’t either, not much time to practice after things go into the pot.
I am one of them. I grew up with guns. Not slammin you, but when you mention competitive, or a thousand rounds a week, that’s a whole new ball game. I get where you are comin from. It comes down to the needs of the individual.
It is very easy to shoot a thousand rounds a week, especially when you live right next to the range.
I don’t shoot that much now, but my kids shoot too, so one person’s SHTF stockpile is another person’s fun weekend with the kids.
We had to decrease our shooting substantially over the last two years because of decreased ammo availability and increased price.
