When it all comes crashing down, what is likely to happen is a good thing.
“Cash for Care” clinics will crop up all across the fruited plain. Disgusted doctors and new docs will open up shop, take all comers and accept no insurance nor program patients.
This has happened already in Maine, and even MaineCare patients took advantage of the quick service.
The motto was “Treat to Street in 30 minutes”
It should work great for the uninsured, the young immortals and those with HSAs or real high deductible.
It’ll be nice when 250-deductible major-med is reinstated.
