A 266 day hunger strike—did this guy weigh 400 pounds at the start? Or is a hunger strike now a restricted diet where he pushes back dessert? Or is it a rolling strike where a bunch of people symbolically skip a few meals?

It used to be that innocents would go on hunger strikes on the behalf of someone they felt was being mistreated. Can you imagine if a criminal tried this BS back in the day? He’d still be hearing the laughter as he passed on.
