No. Playing with mercury is cool.
However, be careful of rubbing elbows with politicians who display odd characteristics. :)
I did the same thing. I found it cool to pool mercury in the cradle of my palm. But I have since wised up. Now at an older age, I switched to Gallium. It’s much safer. It also does really cool things like eat through aluminum. You can make copies of keys with it too.
