Rained all day yesterday.
In the 70s today, warm and muggy, yet 100 miles north they were getting mucho snow and ice. We had a 15-20min ‘straight-line wind’ event here at 6:30am, which leveled dozens of trees in a nearby twp park. I thought a 737 from HIA was coming down nearby.
Yes it is odd weather.

Question: Years ago, I bought an 1884 Trapdoor Springfield and an 1898 30-40 Krag, strictly as a collector’s piece. I haven’t fired either one; but now, I’m wondering if I would be better off trading the two for more SHTF-worthy weapons.

Why not keep your collectables as investments and pick up a SHTF gun like an AR 15?

I remember R Lee Ermey being on this show and Armed American Radio last week.
Yipes! That is chilly!
Don’t know. My are cheapie off-brand but work great. They cost about $50 3-4 years ago. I like being able to shoot, hear and talk at the same time.

I am not so sure.
I was so tied up on the phone last week I missed most of the show.
Found these, they have a lot of stars and a lot of ratings.
I’ve got some of those. They work good.
