And now Cracker Barrel and its Board of Directors have a dilemma: How to fire a politically-correct CEO hired under an affirmative action plan who has just thrown Cracker Barrel and the vast majority of its patrons under the bus.
As a former Army officer, even Sandy Cochran must realize that the buck stops at the top; “A commander is responsible for everything his/her troops do and fail to do.”
To the Cracker Barrel BOD: Put Sandy Cochran on “indefinite hiatus” and many of your former customers will return. Continue to worship at the altar of political correctness and tolerance for everyone but conservative Christians, sound “Taps” for the company.
Their response was what was wrong. They should have not gotten involved, and only when the backlash happened did CB reverse itself. TDB Put these b******* out of business in the first place and they’ll stop this crap.
See Chik-Fil-A, who got my previously non business. And they know WHY I started visiting their stores.
Like I said, when GLAAD kicks off a nationwide boycott of Cracker Barrel because of their reversal, then I think you will see the ranks of conservatives and Christian believers drop the “Let’s Keep Punishing CB approach”, and tactically close ranks behind the business and begin patronizing in earnest, as a “buycott” and a counterbalance to these fascist, intolerant, hateful, anti-Christian PC forces. Believe me, Cracker Barrel senior management will never forget it. Heads may roll in the meantime but let’s do cut them a little slack and foregive. An occasional thank you e mail for doing the right thing after (yes, I know!) initially “screwing up” will speak volumes and will have positive reinforcement power. We are deep in the Culture War, folks. Deep.
Really! No Kidding Cracker Barrell!
