Manchin is making sense hereManchin sees the problem, but wants to delay it, which is just kicking the can down the road. Trust me, Obamacare ain't gonna get any cheaper.
The correct response would be to kill it.

Can you trust the majority of the pubs right now? Outside of a few? I don't have faith that the GOP-e crowd will do the right thing. We need more of the TEA party types.

Didn’t say our times were good. Harry S Truman was kind of a “J. Fred Muggs”. (not to be confused with Hale Boggs)

Notice that “hurt party” is his real concern here.
To: Zuben Elgenubi
Please notice he is worried about how an ObamaCare meltdown will affect the Democratic Party. He hasn’t voiced any worry about how it will affect the nation just the Democratic party’s control of the Federal government.

Currently two out of three representatives are Republican. One, Capito, has announced for Rockefeller’s Senate seat. And, the one Democrat rep ain’t looking so good.

The Democrats acted as Doctor Frankenstein and created a monster. Manchin is asking to keep the monster caged for a little while longer. The most reasonable solution is to end this vile experiment and refrain from further “research”.

“Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia, who has urged delaying a penalty for people who do not enroll for health insurance in 2014 under the law, told CNN that a transitional year was needed for the complex healthcare program.”
TRNASLATION:
Put this catastgrophe off until AFTER the Mid-Terms!!!
I’m sure some RINOs will go along with this.
