Radiation from Fukushima Will Be 10 Times Bigger than All of the Radiation from Nuclear Tests
Zero Hedge ^ | 12/22/2013 | George Washington

Posted on 12/22/2013 7:51:41 AM PST by Errant

This graphic from Woods Hole in Massachusetts – one of the world’s top ocean science institutions – shows how much more cesium was dumped into the sea off Japan from Fukushima as compared to nuclear testing and Chernobyl [above]:

The Canadian government has confirmed in October that Fukushima radiation will exceed “levels higher than maximum fallout” from the nuclear tests.

The party line from the Japanese, Canadian and American governments are that these are safe levels of radiation. Given that those countries have tried to ban investigative journalism and have tried to cover up the scope of the Fukushima disaster, people may want to investigate for ourselves.

What is the x-axis coordinate? Time? Distance? What are the units? The original paper doesn't have the axis labelled either.

But its said that the containment vessel is cracked from all the heat and hydrogen explosions and cooling water is leaking into the ground and percolating into the ocean. This has created a low level plume of radiation that has spread and, among other locations, is actually nearing the Eastern US Coast.

Somebody's geography is messed up.

I assure you they blamed Jews and “Banksters”. Then they probably pushed precious metals, bitcoins, and TEOTWAWKI.

I was wondering why that site always showed Japan with “green” symbols until I clicked a few days ago on several of them and you are right. Huge numbers. 3000 units compared to the background where I live (200-400).

There is also another site (besides the EPA) that I look at that is based in Prescott (they see radiation monitoring equipment).
http://radiationnetwork.com/

and of course the “live camera” at the plant, which I look at frequently and one day I saw a bird flying by that suddenly dropped like a rock. I have been looking at the foliage. Still green, growing, but I can’t tell if the bushes/trees are mutating. (or if this cam is in a “loop”)

Saw a chart, that the flow was moving up around Alaska, across over top of Canada and down the West Coast of Greenland.

Thanks for the links partner. Hiding our heads in the sand, as many would have us do, and falsely claiming this event to be insignificant isn’t helping in the least. What’s needed is accurate and timely reporting by those agencies in charge - that doesn’t appear to be happening.

When the Fukishima reacters first melted down, they made a big deal about the new air monitering equipment they put up on the West Coast. They had web sites you could go to to see live that we were not being contaminated. When contamination finally showed up they shut the public off from the moniters and stopped talking about them.
