That is just ridiculous. Other articles I’ve read stated that they shot the man after they had his Ranger and were driving away. Someone’s trying to blame the victim and mitigate the criminals’ guilt (yet another “murder gone wrong” story)-they murdered that man in cold blood, just like the Australian baseball player.
Err...I hope that was directed at the police statement and not me? Because I certainly don’t blame the victim here. I’m just saying that he was almost acting out of fear for his wife’s safety, like any good husband would be in that situation.
That’s assuming the crime went down that way in the first place, of course, and not as a murder after the fact, as you mentioned some other stories have reported.
Either way, though, I blame no one but the four feral thugs that murdered this man in cold blood. Just so we’re clear.
