A liberal guest on Fox yesterday said that the main issue was Phil’s “gross” language.
Uh, yeah, sodomy is gross, but Phil’s description was true.
Are we supposed to play pretend? Why? Because it hurts someone’s feelings?

Doesn't A&E employ Christians?
I read where A&E quickly issued a formal statement that they supported the gay community. However, I haven’t seen a formal statement from A&E announcing their support of the Christian community.
Then it’s obvious someone other than Ms. Dubuc was making the decisions to hire the Robertsons in the first place. If not, she should not be CEO. To deliberately, if that is what she did, ruin her network over some trumped up un realistic and out of touch belief is insane. It also appears this is not a simple misstep on her part since her company and presumably her have had a problem with the Robertsons beliefs. It also makes one wonder why “Ms Forty Something” was hired to be in charge.
Hmmmm...somebody should ask the feckless CEO how well putting their employees over their viewers has worked after losing over 6 million on Thursday.

The Left is quick to cry out “Intolerance!” over anything, but they are the most intolerant people of all. I see things that offend me constantly but I’m free to turn the channel instead of trying to make a man lose his job and livlihood for not holding what they feel is “the correct” opinion of the gays. This time it seems to be backfiring, but the last time (Paula Dean) it worked.
I’ll bet it was more of a “pro-life” rant...

Oh! how convenient it is to cast down sin as a sinner. Phil Robertson classifies homosexual behavior as sinful, and all of a sudden the homosexual lobby is Christian and concerned about their souls?
Why is it that homosexuals can, with a clear conscience, copulate in a manner un-Christian, but when someone very visibly points it out, they’re incensed and upset by it?
Liberals, progressives, athiests, and Democrats have no problem casting aspersions upon Christianity, but as soon as they’re castigated for not being Christian, it’s a convenience excuse to denigrate the man who opines on the un-Christian behavior?
What a whacko world in which we live...
How ‘bout a “real” reality show where they install hidden video cameras without telling the participants in scouting troop dens or with gay scout masters on those weekend camping trips or say any other situation where a gay man is left around young male children unattended with cops ready to bust own the doors once the homo goes for the bait.
No they would rather violate 2 of Phil’s Constitutional Rights.

An employer can hold neither ‘against you’ according to FEDERAL employment law. It is time for Christians to start holding these executive’s feet to the fire and not only go after them in the market place, but also in the court of law.

A&E didn’t want to “disrepect” some of their “gay” employees but doing so to Phil Robertson was just fine?
A&E damn sure disrespected millions of Christian viewers.
Guess they also neglected to consider how much income A&E realizes from those “gay” employees. Guess that wasn’t on their agenda either.
I hope A&E won’t live long enough to regret their highly unpopular decison to sack Phil Robertson.
