You’d be surprised! I’ve seen ACLU do some stupid stuff in court...because they base their response on emotion! Have you been an arresting officer - done counter-drug ops - testified in court weekly , if not daily??? What’s your background to be shoving out opinions on this subject?
What’s yours?
BTW, I have not posted any opinions just facts from the article.
I am going to jump in here.
My background is this: I am an American citizen born and bred.
I have read the Constitution. (You should try it sometime, it really isn’t so very long or complicated)
No agency, no cop, no border patrol, NOBODY has the right to stick their fingers inside anyone without a warrant or consent. Nor do they have a right to force them to take laxatives or undergo any “medical” procedure, including x rays and cavity searches without a warrant or consent. I am not so sure some of this stuff should be legal with a warrant for that matter but in this case there was none so that is a different discussion.
Pulling someone out of line at random does not give anyone the right to do these things.
Having your trained dog jump on someone does not give you the right to do these things.
This is WRONG. Plain and simple. It is a violation, an intrusion and it is a physical assault.
I do not choose to live in a totalitarian state just so I can have a little bit more “security”.
Every single time this crap happens there should be outcry, lawsuits and any other blow-back one can think up.
This can not be tolerated in what is supposed to be a free country.
