As our members of Congress head home to enjoy the holiday recess and start of the New Year, I look back at all the progress weve made on immigration in 2013 building a nationwide coalition of leaders who carry a bible, wear a badge or own a business and I look forward to what 2014 holds in store for reform.
Wide acknowledgement from Republican House leadership and support among Republican constituents shows that immigration reform is definitely not a dead issue, but one with great opportunity in 2014.
Every member of the House leadership team has expressed commitment to move reform forward in 2014, and each week the number of rank and file Republicans in favor of reform grows.
In 2013 we made great strides toward a successful 2014 for immigration. Considering that just over a year ago this issue was on the sidelines, the fact that the home stretch is in sight is no small accomplishment.
2014 stands to be that blockbuster year that finally takes reform across the finish line.

The time is now to enforce the law, deport all illegals, end anchor baby citizenship, and have a 10 year mandatory hard labor sentence for drawing benefits or voting if you sneak in illegally. That’s the immigration reform we need now!
Back row, third from the left: Is that Minnie Pearl, or String Bean?
In '65 Uncle Teddy said his immigration reform act wouldn't change the racial demographic in the country. Yet, here we are.
Lying POS.
Amen, Eagle!!
That is the name printed above.
Hey Jeb...go to hell!
No, that one used capital letters.
And once sent home if they appear here again illegally they get ten years.
And yes,I'm willing to pay more in taxes to accomplish the deportations *and* the ten year sentences.
Shut up and go away!. Nobody cares what you spout.
By the way, is your house open to accomodate “undocumented workers”? If not, STFU.
Is there ever a time that’s NOT?
Fixed it.
: )
Well it shouldn’t have.
Potato potato potato...
We must make every effort to defeat immigration reform. We have the laws - we just need to enforce them. Anyone who promotes amnesty or the “Dream Act” hates this country, is delusional, and/or is corrupt.
This is a good idea, as long as it’s right before the 2014 elections. It will get knocked down and the low information voters will remember who to punish. The reason why the GOPe is pushing it for now is that low info voters won’t remember.
For 6 years I lived there, without a tenant next to me.
Then multiple illegals moved in next door.
For the very first time, I had cockroaches in my kitchen.
And sleeping became a problem, since they clearly were doing the hot-cot working situation, and partying all the time.
For the record, I don't think it was "malicious", I simply think that illegals bring their "culture" with them.
Apparently it is considered OK to have 10 people in the back of a pick-up truck, drinking.
And this was in the parking lot.
