None. There is no acceptable form of dissent from their views, at least not on any channel of the mass media. FOX possibly excepted, I don't know at this point.

Liberals and Queers don’t watch Duck Dynasty anyway.
Their appeal is to straight God -Fearing Americans red necks.
If some other network doesn’t pick them up they are missing the boat.
I noticed the comments on yahoo are pretty much in support of him. Perhaps the world isn’t as leftist as the msm makes it out to be.

I am extremely disappointed to hear that you’ve chosen to suspend Phil Robertson indefinitely for speaking his opinions and beliefs on the gay lifestyle. You certainly were willing to cash in on the “family values” that the family espoused when Duck Dynasty became the number one show on cable television, but now in the face, of what you see as controversial statements made by the Duck Commander himself, you jerk him off your network. You are certainly within your rights to do so.
In light of your decision, I have decided to indefinitely suspend A&E from my television set. While I will miss Duck Dynasty, Storage Wars, and many of the other programs you show, your decision forces me to take a stand. When your network publicly apologizes to Mr. Robertson for your attempt to suppress his freedom of speech, I will entertain the thought of watching your network again.
That show is A&E’s bread and butter. They’ll use this as spin and Phil will be back within a week.
Sarah PalinYou can bet your bollocks to a barn dance, that Phil Robertson could care less what A&E says. He’s a true “believer”, so he won’t lose a second of sleep over it. He constantly stands up for the Lord and won’t be swayed by what the world thinks is acceptable or not.

They ask you the questions. He gives his own personal views, but he is only allowed to give the views they want to hear.

I’m telling you we are going to lose our freedoms if we don’t stand up to the left. That means we demand that people can say whatever they please and these leftist groups can eat it.

A smart network wouldn’t bite the hands that feed it. That same smart network I’m sure would pickup the show albeit under a new name.
And why do they (pretend to) object to bestiality?
What’s wrong with bestiality, if as he said in the interview it makes sense for one man to put his etc in another man’s anus, what is the big moral objection to sex with your pets or anything else?
Do you know the modern laws DO NOT object to bestiality because it is immoral? They are strictly to prevent cruelty to the animals!
Surely they don’t morally object to those who have sex with animals? They support every other sexual variation.
I guess A&E is all about diversity and everything as long as you don’t go off the liberal reservation and actually espouse an idea that’s actually diverse.

If you agree with his statement, I think the appropriate response is to cancel your cable. Huh? Wait a minute...
I know it seems drastic but how else can you vote your disagreement with the suspension? Cable is a package deal.
Plus it recruits allies, the cable company and the other channels. Cancel your cable and tell them why.
I imagine that a majority of Americans agree with his statement. At some point, we have to hold the line on these attacks on free speech.
When Bloomberg wanted to limit the size of a soda, NYer’s should have sent soda sales plummeting. I bet the soda industry, distributors and retailers would have been beating down Bloomberg’s door.
What he said wasn’t even a direct attack, he was merely stating his personal beliefs and wishing that people would turn away from that lifestyle among other similarly bad lifestyles. Compare this to Bashir or other lefty’s who viciously attack conservatives with death wishes, death threats and vile comments.
I hope the Robertsons stand together and quit the show, they will always have an audience on another channel with another show.
