**I think the tough, even “macho” (if we dare use that term) redneck he-man set are the right population to carry that gospel.**
Like John the baptist: “O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?”
Or Jesus Christ: “Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?”
Paul and Barnabas: “It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.”
And they were addressing religious people! And it wasn’t an ‘uncertain sound’. There are licensed ‘ministers’ all across this nation that are so afraid to tell the truth it’s pitiful. Some obviously don’t even know the truth. Mr Robertson didn’t sidestep the subject. He spoke the truth with love, imo.
If the toughest thing you can think of is hellfire then you do not know squat about heaven.
