Pew: Liberal support for Obama at all-time low, worse than George W. Bush and conservatives
Washington Examiner ^ | December 18, 2013 | Paul Bedard

Following on the heels of other political groups, President Obama's liberal base is abandoning him, giving him an even lower level of support from his base than George W. Bush had from conservatives five years into his presidency, according to a new Pew Research Center poll.

Well, the American people do believe in ghosts, don’t they?

I have no faith at all that anyone or anything will stop him. I have seen nothing in the past five years to give me any faith at all in that direction. I am getting rather sick of all of these calls to “contact your representative!” and “call your senator!” Clearly, they are not listening to us. At least, not enough of them to see any kind of measurable difference. This clown just goes happily along with utterly no consequences...

Only the state legislatures can rein in the federal government now through an Article V. process.

Yeah, they even manufacturer ghost sensing equipment and there were some cable shows about hauntings. Personally, every time I hear the phrase “social justice” or “redistributive justice”, I think of the ghost of Karl Marx.

The only good thing we got from GWB to my knowledge is Justice Alito. There was a small tax break

Bush also saved us from the Clinton dotcom recession. He also stood strong against embryonic stem cell research. He refused international money for abortion. He also kept us safe from new terror attacks that everyone said were inevitable. He kept us out of the international court and restored pride in the military which Clinton had decimated. He was outspoken in his defense of traditional marriage. For the most part his administration was scandal free (I mean real scandals not fake ones like Valerie Plame.)

will now proceed to issue regulations, EOs, and appoint radical judges without the approval of the American people. The damage he will do in the next 2 plus years will be incalculable. Who’s to stop him? John Boehner?

How on earth would Boehner be able to block Obama from issuing EO's and appointing radical judges?

People sure get confused about the job description of the Speaker around here.

Who’s confused? I used Boehner as an example of Establishment Republicans. Most people here get that. As far as Republicans letting Obama off without any accountability, Nixon was impeached for far less.

Washington is the problem and it will not fix itself. Article V. provides a way:

Boehner can't stop Obama from issuing EO's or appointing radical judges, the items you had mentioned.

That was my point.

I got your point—that I was confused. I’m not.
