You must rebut the evidence with some argument or challenge. “Well, okay then” does not suffice.

Please explain how I could possibly ask you for a note from your doctor proving that you have a medical condition, without being aware that you have, or claim to have, a medical condition. Being aware that you claim to have a medical condition prohibits me from honestly stating that I “had no idea that (you) had a medical condition” doesn’t it?

If you choose to contend that the employee or manager never asked for a note from the doctor, then we are free to call into question every statement of fact concerning the incident - including the offer of apology or the existence of the restaurant itself.
