George Zimmerman can now add "painter" to his resume after the former neighborhood watchman purportedly listed an original painting on eBay.

The 18-by-24-inch canvas features a blue, waving American flag with the words, "God, one nation, with liberty and justice for all" emblazoned across it.

The auction was posted Monday at a starting bid of 99 cents and is scheduled to end Saturday. As of Tuesday morning, 98 bids were logged for the painting, ratcheting the price up to $99,966. The next bid would top $100,000.

Zimmerman's brother, Robert Zimmerman Jr., confirmed that George painted the piece.

"Everyone has been asking what I have been doing with myself. I found a creative, way to express myself, my emotions and the symbols that represent my experiences," the item description reads. "My art work allows me to reflect, providing a therapeutic outlet and allows me to remain indoors."(continued)

Wow, I am surprised that you are not related or being payed in that you are so enthusiastic in representing him.

Don’t you know that getting speeding tickets is really a rare event? Me, 1 per decade or so (usually much less).

Speeding tickets are the result of the person - usually because they are in a hurry or they are indifferent to the laws. People that break the “speeding” law seem to do it all the time. It’s a personality issue it seems... That makes it an understanding of the person - a bit at least.

I am not tying you to him for any reason but am interested in why you are defending him so? I also defended him during his Travon trial but not so much now...

You have to look at the whole picture to get an idea of the man and you seem to disregard some of those aspects. We do agree in the overall, at least during the Travon trial but you seem to be taking it much further than I would...

If you can't see by now that the only reason he gets any coverage is because of the leftist agenda against him then there probably isn't anything I can say that would get through to you now. Why should I defend him? Because that agenda is aimed at conservatives not George Zimmerman.

But, no, you want to look at "the whole man" and miss the big picture completely. I guess you think the MSM/left has given up and has nothing to do with what's happening to him now.

The POTUS spoke out against him. The U.S. AG investigated him and in spite of no findings against him from the DoJ the AG says he will continue to investigate him. U.S. Congressmen have spoken against him in the well of the House. Rick Santorum publically denounced him as crazy. The FL governor assigned a special prosecutor to bring charges against him. The special prosecutor did. The MSM has lied about and demonized him for nearly two years. Spike Lee tweeted his parent's address for psychos to find them. The NBPP issued dead or alive wanted posters on him. Not one LEA, prosecutor or politician in the country condemned that giving the impression that his assassination has been officially sanctioned. He's a quarter million dollars in debt.

How would you do with that thrown against you?

And don't try that BS about having no idea you were trying to smear me with a false association. That's utter crap.

Sorry, but you are wrong and that is okay. I usually think along the lines that you do...

But.. This is an opinion that has nothing to do with politics but has to do with his actions. You need to see the difference.

I could care less about MSM coverage, or any other news. I am going by his actions and you should also. I really do not like folks that break the law (generally) and expect better than normal treatment! It is a generation thing maybe, but I believe in the laws of the land and expect folks to respect them! Old and maybe obsolete...

I think Pablo was a teenager when he painted this. I believe that girl is one of his sisters at her First Communion Ceremony, one of the Sacraments of the Catholic Church. Somebody correct me if I’m wrong.

I truly am to know this! The work I have seen even had brush streaks. Now I realize he was probably mocking the art critics!

Wrong about what? Are you always so vague? Is that deliberate?
