AHF officials said the wedding aligns perfectly with the parade's theme of "Dreams Come True."

I was thinking the same thing while reading the posts and remembering the parades of yore. The last few years have been a big yawn. With that and two dudes saying the I do’s...I won’t be watching this year. I might watch peter otoole’s A Lion in winter, instead. Or not. Maybe something else.
Look away and DO NOT LOOK BACK!
GOD will stop it in HIS time. I sure hope it is soon.
“That’s gay dude”.

If they want to pretend they are getting married, why would anyone decent think such a ceremony is worth broadcasting to the (mostly) children who watch the parade?
This is one of the things that makes freedom of speech a freedom that challenges our resolve. That being said, perhaps a few signs along the parade route will voice an opinion for heterosexual marriage and against queer marriage.
Keep it succinct.
America has lost its shame.
Thank you, now I remember and I just got sick all over again; it’s from my home town of Grand Rapids, Mich.
Haven’t watched a bowl parade, Christmas parade, or Macy’s Thanksgiving parade in 30 years. Who cares?
I will be contacting the Grand Marshall. I don’t see how he could endorse this in good conscience.

I care. I’m not much on parades and have never watched the other ones you mentioned, but I’ve rarely missed this one over the past three decades. First, it’s held within 5 minutes of where I used to live, and for all its warts, I still miss Southern California.
Second, it’s held on my birthday (except when it falls on Sunday). In recent years, HGTV rolls out several new programs after the parade — perfect for me since I don’t care for the bowl games and love HGTV. I always make it a special birthday occasion, starting a fire in the fireplace early in the morning, curling up with my dogs on the couch while wearing my comfy flannel gown, eating popcorn, snacks, sandwiches — whatever I was in the mood for. It was an event I looked forward to every year. It was as if it were a birthday present especially for me. So, it’s breaking my heart that the homosexuals have found yet another way to insinuate their radical agenda into our lives.
You’ve made it clear you don’t care. Good for you. But there are those of us who are bitterly disappointed.
Thanks for that info. I’ll be sure to contact him.
