The Senate just voted to cut off debate on the RyanMurray budget deal, paving the way for its passage later this week. This vote was the key procedural hurdle the bill will face.
What did one expect from Ron Johnson? Paul Ryan is the author and every Wisconsin Congressman voted for it and even Gov. Walker provided a statement of support.
Not all Tea Party candidates are tea-party minded. Good to know.
Our two RINO losers were happy to vote for cloture.
So all the Dems plus the two independents voted for cloture. I know there were some questions about Bernie Sanders and one or two others.
I won’t be voting for another GOP moderate or RINO again period.
Not for Duncan, not for Corker and certainly not for Alexander.
I will vote for ANY Tea Party candidate in the primaries. But no more
for me.
I am pretty discussed too. That bonehead rant the other day had me wanting to reach through the TV and strangle the asshole.
Yeah, Sen. Ron Johnson is just the darling of the libs...!
Here’s how they evaluate his voting record:
Sen. Johnson’s Liberal Action Score: 0
The Liberal Action Score is calculated by compiling a series of measured liberal actions (both roll call voting and bill cosponsorship) in the 112th Congress and comparing Ron Johnson’s behavior against a liberal standard:
Respect for constitutional protections of American civil liberty
Transparency and public access in government
Equal treatment of people under law
The respect and pursuit of empirical knowledge through support for science and education
Protection of the Earth’s environmental richness
Strengthening of economic opportunity for all
Pursuit of peaceful solutions and opposition to militarism in policy
A score of 0 means that Senator Johnson has participated in 0% of our slate of liberal actions in the 112th Congress. Representative Johnson has failed to take any of the slate of liberal actions we have identified for the 112th Congress.
Ron Johnson needs another butt whipping by Mark Levin.
Johnson has gone back to the Corporate Dark Side he emanated from.
Sorry for the last epitaff. Could not contain myself thinking of bonehead.
They think they have us corned, either vote for the mild lefties or allow the full blown lefties to win. Logic is commendable and after 2012 it seems faultless.
Time to leave.
The no-risk businessman.
methinks it is time big gubmint was ‘cut off’.
but first, a cup of TEA. It’s been brewing since 2010..
Isakson and Chambliss will vote for anything that screws over the citizens of Georgia. With Chambliss stepping down next year, no one is even forcing his hand any more, yet he still continues to stab us in the back. As for Isakson, I see no difference between him and Max Cleland or Wyche Fowler.
It's about taking a stand when we need them the most, and not compromising on key issues.
Johnson has been a disappointment.
If the establishment RINO’s and their ilk get in the way, throw them out as well. Stop providing any financial support for these anti-American RINO’s and their ilk like their supporters, e.g. Karl Rove.
Take a stand America, now that you can see as clear as glass who the enemies of this Republic are!
Ron Johnson was a tea-party darling in 2010. He’s steeping in another pot now.
now they just front-stab you.
YES, Ron Johnson is a lightweight intellect, as proved on Mark Levin, and a progressive at heart. A real PHONY. YES, YOU RON! Bob
