The news story said there was a line for parking places at the mall
last night, and that's right after the murder on Sunday. If a pattern of carjackings and murders at the mall developed, it might be different, but I don't think that will happen. Security changes at the mall will be made.
I've read a fair amount of what I think might be schadenfreude about this. Millburn had a recent murder rate of -0- and there were 12 vehicle thefts in 2010, the most recent year available.
