Pelosi calls for Obama to halt deportations
The Washington Times ^ | December 16, 2013 | Stephen Dinan

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi privately has urged the Obama administration to halt deportations for some illegal immigrants, saying that President Obama needs to use more “discretion” to reduce the number of people he’s kicking out of the country.

In an interview with Telemundo over the weekend, Mrs. Pelosi said that just being in the country illegally is not enough of a reason to be deported, and she said illegal immigrants must have something more serious on their records.

“Our view of the law is that it — if somebody is here without sufficient documentation, that is not reason for deportation,” she said in the interview, which an immigrant-rights group posted on its website. “If somebody has broken the law, committed a felony or something, that’s a different story.”

Federal law generally does say that those who are in the country without authorization — either because they jumped the border or have overstayed their visas — are deportable.

San Fran Nan is certifiable, both she and 0bama swore an oath of office which means nothing to either of them.

Is she alarmed of potential voters leaving the premises?

Isn’t just fabulous how want to be able to pick which “it’s the law of the land” to enforce? Liberals, show me a good one and I’ll show you a recent funeral.

Doesn’t it warm your heart, as well as Minority Leader and former Speaker.

The irony here is they do not realize they are undermining *all* of government, not just the parts they don’t like. It is really shocking to see how shallow and unintelligent these congress critters really are.

“Our view of the law is that it
‘’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’

Who is this “OUR” that this scumbag is mentioning?

It has always been that if people come into this country without authorization they can be removed.

It isn’t bad enough we have Obama making up laws as he goes along, now we have this ex Speaker who is way too big for her britches telling us what the law says.

We all know that California is over run by illegals and faggots and Nancy being elected from there has an affinity for them, but she does not determine how to read our laws.
At least she isn’t supposed to, but I suppose with Republicans too frightened to open their mouths these three azzholes (Nancy, Obama, and Reid)can pretty much do as they like, or rather what George Soros likes.

Mrs. Pelosi said that just being in the country illegally is not enough of a reason to be deported

Um....yes it is Nan. If repeated after deportation it is a felony. Ship 'em!

Anyone else think this is a ruse quote, supplied from “on high”, to provide foil for the Marxist? In other words, she is depicting, inaccurately, the Marxist as a tough enforcer of immigration law.
